Guangzhou is a port on the Pearl River and can be made through the South China Sea. It is the main hub of the south of China, second only to Hongkong city. There are many direct international flights from other cities in Asia, USA, Australia and so on. At present, there is one train between Guangzhou and Lhasa called Z264 / Z266. The distance is 3094 miles and it takes about 53.5 / 55 hours.
Before you plan a China Tibet travel, you need to note as below:
1)You should avoid traveling in China on these dates including Chinese New Year (February 16, 2018), the golden week is between from May 1st to 3rd and from October 1st to 7th. Because it’s the peak season of tourism in China, most of the Chinese people will choose to travel and visit their relatives at this time. So it's hard to buy a plane ticket or train ticket for you.
2) All foreign tourists who want to enter China need to apply for China visa in their home country. If you have any questions about China visa, we can help you with the China visa.
